A corner brownstone in historic Brooklyn Heights, revitalized with largely native plantings beneath its established trees and kept in ongoing care.
This corner property came with a fine structure of established trees. Working beneath them, we revitalized the garden with largely native plants suited to the shade: common violets, native ferns, white wood aster and Clethra alnifolia.
A new irrigation system, which we monitor through the season, supports the plantings as they settle in.
We maintain the garden year-round, with pruning, fertilizing and regular care. The plantings are filling in beautifully, and we look forward to watching this garden mature in the years ahead.
